Evaluation of perfusion index as an objective indicator of successful interscalene block

Aims Objectives: The aim study was to evaluate perfusion index (PI) as an objective indicator assessing successful ultrasound guided interscalene block. Materials Methods: This prospective, observational included adult patients undergoing limb surgery (humerus shoulder) under USG PI recorded at baseline (before LA administration), every 2 min till 10 min, then 5 30 after block in both arms. values were compared between blocked unblocked arms all observed time points. ratio calculated 15 PI.
